Separate right to study for completing the remaining studies

Starting from 1.8.2010 students who have left Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences without completing their degree not more than five (5) years ago can apply for a separate right to study without participating in the joint application system.

There should not be more than 60 credits (ECTS) missing from the degree. The study right will be given for the maximum of 1 academic year (2 semesters) and students cannot get extension to study time or enrol for non-attendance (absence). There is a handling fee in the amount of 35 euros collected for processing the application (Council of State Decree 1230/2009 § 4).

Students have to apply by a specific application form and attach their personal study plan and receipt of paying the processing charge to the application. The instructions for the payment are given in the application form.
