Student affairs office

Student affairs office is important for all students. There is Student affairs office on every campus of Mikkeli UAS. It is responsible for admissions, study grants and statistics. At the Main Campus you can find the office from the first floor of X-building.

International services

International services coordinates the international activities at Mikkeli UAS including student/staff mobility and the International summer term. International Services is available on the 1st floor of X-building at the Main Campus.

Student union Mamok and International Club

Mamok, the student union of Mikkeli UAS is a body of observing the welfare of the Mikkeli UAS students. Mamok aims at developing students´welfare and studying environment. It organises different kind of free time activities, happenings and tutoring. The members of Mamok are issued a membership card entitling to considerable student benefits. Foreign students can´t receive the membership card if their study period lasts less than 8 months.

International Club (IC) is meant for Mikkeli UAS students who are interested in international contacts and events. IC takes care of tutoring exchange students and arranging free-time events/activities like sauna parties, ice fishing trips and sports activities. Happenings are arranged throughout the year according to the season and they are mainly meant for exchange/foreign students. You will make friends with students of several different nationalities by attending the activities.

Tutoring

Mamok coordinates tutoring together with Mikkeli UAS. Tutoring supports the study counselling and includes peer tutoring, international tutoring, marketing tutoring and sports tutoring. You can ask the turos whatever is on your mind related to studies and student life. More information at Mamok's website.

Library

Library and information services are in the network or on your campus. There is a library on every campus (Mikkeli, Savonlinna and Pieksämäki). You will find contact information and opening ours of the library at library´s homepage.

The library material is part of Mikkeli library network Mikki. in Mikki database you will make information retrievals and renew or check your own loans. The library and information service is guiding students in their learning process, transmitting important material and teaching how to handle information. Students are inspired to be active and independent in their information retrieval.

Restaurants

There are many restaurants and cafeterias in all campuses. By presenting a valid student ID or a meal subsidy card issued by Kela, students are entitled to get a student discount.
