Ville Kontinen studies Information Technology (B.Eng).
- I applied to MUAS after serious consideration: I’ve always been working with computers in some way and I’ve also been good with different languages, so I wanted to combine these things. Because MUAS offered such degree here, the choice was obvious.

Ville is originally from Mikkeli and likes the city because it is not that big nor too small.
- The city has also started to develop and refresh, so I consider staying here after my studies as one option.

The student life has been active so far: parties thrown by the student organisations, musical events etc. Sports are also included in my free time, Krav Maga for example.
- Studying itself has been more open and closer to the reality, so to say. We haven’t yet dived in to the deep areas but from the curriculum you can see the theoretical part being the lesser later on.

Ville’s aim is to work as a senior/administrator/executive person in possibly the areas of communications or web development.
- For now I’m working part time as a car driver, but I’m searching for work related to my studies.

Future is wide open.
- I dream that one day I will own a B&B in Northern Italy. I’d grow tomatoes and bell peppers in the backyard. But because I’m a realistic person, I see it as a possibility to work in my current field from home and run the travel business in the side.
